Abstract
Microhydro technology is a small-scale technology that can be applied to water resources to transform the potential of hydropower into electricity. Micro hydro development is seen as the right choice for the supply of electrical energy for remote areas with a small population and difficult to reach the power grid from PLN.The working principle of this water turbine is when the water current flows at a certain speed then pounding the waterwheels / propeller and forwarded by the turbine shaft to the altenator, where the altenator will turn the mechanical motion into electric current.
