Abstract
The title of this final report is “Designing a Calendar as one of Alternative Media to Promote Cultural Heritage of Palembang”. The purpose of this final report is to design calendar as one of alternative media to promote cultural heritage of Palembang. The data were collected by using library research, documentation, and interview. In this writing, the writer used Research and Development method. The result shows that designing calendar can be the one of alternative promotion media.Many things can be displayed in calendar for example calendar used as promotion media to promote the cultural heritage of Palembang. After conducting some revisions to the product from the experts, the writer got the price for designing the calendar is Rp. 45.000,- /pcs. By designing this kind of calendar, it is expected that local people and tourist will know more about the cultural heritage of Palembang.
