Abstract

Background of this research is a pheuomenon occurred in pawn credit service field precisely, Pawnshop Branch of sekip Palembang. It provides pawn credit service product for all people surround it. Safe-Quick-Credit (KCA) is a product that is being a tend on the amount of its loan in the last five years. Data from Pawnshop Branch of Sekip Palembang shows that there is increasing on the amount of Safe-Quick-Credit (KCA) loans since 2009 - 2013. From the phenomenoq the resemcher tries to study about customem' behavior from their external aspects in deciding to access safe-Quict-credit (KCA). The purpose of this research is to explain the causal correlation betweeu external factors and customers' decision through hypothesis test. Data is taken in Pawnshop Branch of Sekip Palembang. Amount of sample is 195 respondents that are obtained by Slovin forrnula using ertor 5o/o. Its independent variables iuclude social class, family, culture and group of reference. Analysis technique used is (l) validity and reliability tests of questioner items and (2) double linear regression test. Aferwards, it is conducted hypothesis test simultaneously (F+est), partially (t.test) and dominant variabel. The research result shows that social class (X1), family (x2), culture (x3) and goup of reference (x4) variabels collectively have significaut correlation and effect on customers' decision in accessing SafeQuickcredit (KCA) at Pawnshop Branch of sekip Palembang (Y) wirh double regression (R) coefficient is 0,760 (76yr) and significant level is 0,000 also Fcount value is 65,104. Besides, the obtained R square is 0,578 (57,8oA. It is seen from B regression coefficient, hance it can be concluded that external factor variable component having the most dominant effect on customers' decision is culture (X3) variable as mush as A,437 (43,7 yo) with t-count is 4,927 .
