Abstract
The purpose of this report is to analyze the role of the arrangement of office layout in administration section for supporting the working activities and working simplification of the employees at PT Tunas Mobilindo Perkasa (Tunas Daihatsu) Palembang. The writer found some problems such as the spacing of the preparation working table, equipment, and office supplies of the administration section were not based on the techniques and principles of the correct office layout. In addition, the working flow of the employees were not good because they did not follow the principles of a series of work. The data were collected by using questionnaires and interviews given to the administrative staff and employees outside the room who were often associated with employees in the room. To overcome this problem, the writer suggests to change the distance between the table with another table and change the location of the employees’ table and dispensing equipment or office supplies which are not really used inside and place the stuff that makes the room looks cluttered in other room and also improves the working range of the administrative section in order to create work simplification.
