Abstract

Tujuan utama dari laporan akhir ini adalah merancang mesin scrollsaw untuk menggergaji kayu lapis dan papan. Perancangan mesin scroll saw ini mempunyai berberapa konsep dengan langkah-langkah antara lain yaitu: kebutuhan, analisis masalah dan spesifikasi produk, perancangan konsep produk , analisis teknik, dan gambar kerja. Hasil laporan akhir ini adalah berupa desain yang dituangkan dalam gambar rangka mesin, dan gambar komponen. Kapasitas mesin scroll saw dapat menggergaji mencapai ketebalan kayu 20mm. Sumber penggerak mesin adalah motor listrik dengan daya 0,25 HP. Mesin scroll saw ini memiliki dimensi panjang x lebar x tinggi 550 x 300 x 395 mm. Bahan rangka mesin menggunakan besi hollow 30x20x2. Poros transmisi menggunakan poros engkol. Papan alas kerja menggunakan kayu
