The purpose of the research is to write short story entitled “Behind the Shadow” that would be published in wattpad. The writer used research and development method modified by Sukmadinata. In limited testing, the result showed that the book should be revised. The experts give a comments that there were some confusing setting and also contents in story contents and also some mistakes in language used, so that it must be fixed. In wider testing, the book can be accepted.
