Abstract
This final report discuss about designing a prototype of storybook entitled "Putri Pinang Masak"to preserve cultures of Ogan Ilir regency. This research uses a development research method by Borg and Gall (1989) modified by Sukmadinata (2005). This modified method consisted of three stages as the following: preliminary study, product development and final product testing.. The problem is how to design a prototype of storybook entitled "Putri Pinang Masak"to preserve cultures of Ogan Ilir regency . The conclusion and suggestion of this prototype of storybook can preserve the cultures by introducing the folklore of Ogan Ilir regency.
