Abstract
This final report discusses about designing a prototype of storybook entitled “Putri Ayu Sundari” for Junior High School level. The purpose is to know how to design a prototype of storybook. The writer used Research and Development method that modified by Sukmadinata (2008). The method consists of (1) Preliminary Study. (2) Model Development, and (3) Final Testing. The storybook was designed by the writer and supported by the experts. This storybook is interesting for Junior High School level who learn English as the foreign language and want to learn about the legend.
