Abstract

This final report explain about ultrasonic SRF04 as robot navigator and ATMgega32 microcontroller as a I/O process. This robot is equipped with three ultrasonic SRF04 sensors that are placed on the left side, right side, and in front of the robot. Ultrasonic SRF04 sensort consists of a transmitter and receiver. The ultrasonic SRF04 sensor works with mechanical devices where the transmitter would emit ultrasonic wave which are then reflected by the objects around him, the reflected ultrasonic wave will be received by recipient of the ultrasonic sensor.. Ultrasonic SRF04 sensor is used as navigation so that robot can be thorough the room without hitting a hitch. The relusting data by ultrasonic SRF04 is sent to a microcontroller for processing in order control the motor and make movement to DC motor. If ultrasonic SRF04 sensor detected a hitch at the left side robot will turn right, , If ultrasonic SRF04 sensor detected a hitch at the right side robot will turn left, dan if in front of ultrasonic SRF04 sensor detected a hitch and then compare the distance from right and left ultrasonic sensor, closer hitch will be avoid by robot.
