Abstract
This final report aim to designing a storybook of Si Pahit Lidah to preserve the legend from Ogan Komering Ulu.The writer used the Borg and Gall (1989) Research and Development (R&D) method modified by Sukmadinata (2017). The research steps consisted of a Preliminary Study, Model/Product Development, and Final Product Testing. In the literature study, the writer collected the data from printed and online sources journals and article. For interview activities, the writer conducted via Whatsapp platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The result revealed that comments/responses and suggestions by some expert and reader were needed for the better final version. From the interview, revision of the storybook focused on the font, layout, design, color, content of the story being told, and so on. And it also reviewed by some experts: Design and language. The storybook was also reviewed by several readers who came from OKU who knew the story and would put it for limited testing, while there were some readers from the South Sumatra region to assess the effectiveness of this product on wider testing.
