Abstract

The title of this final report is "The Effects of Addition Conplast SP420 to The K- 300 Concrete Compressive Strength". There are various studies and experiments in the field of concrete technology as an effort to improve the quality of concrete, material technology and implementation techniques which come from research and experiments intended to answer the higher demands on the use of concrete and also to overcome the obstacles that happen oftenly in working. One way to improve the strength of concrete is adding Conplast SP420 in the concrete, which minimizes the use of water, facilitate the work of concrete and increase the compressive strength of concrete. The aim of this study is to get high-strength number of compressive strength of concrete and to determine the number of compressive strength of concrete at the age of 3, 7, 14 and 28 days with a variety of additives Conplast SP420. The dose used in this study were 0 lt/100 kgs of cement, 0.2 lt/100 kgs of cement, 0.4lt/100 kgs of cement, 0.6 lt/100 kgs of cement, 0.8 lt/100 kgs of cement, 1 lt/100 kgs of cement and 2 lt/100 kgs of cement. The sample used in this study were cuboid (15cm x 15cm x 15cm). The quality of concrete which was already planned is 300 kgs/cm2 for 28 days. The samples were tested at the age of 3, 7, 14 and 28 days, with maintenance performed prior before testing. Total of the whole sample is 84 samples consisting of 7 variations and each variation is composed of 12 samples. This study showed that the highest compressive strength of mix concrete was obtained to the concrete with a dose of Conplast SP420 to 1 lt/100 kgs of cement (BC-1), which number is 369.63 kgs/cm2 and the lowest compressive strength was obtained to the concrete with a dose of Conplast SP420 to 0.8 lt/100 kgs of cement, which number is 306.67 kgs/cm2 at the age of 28 days.
