Abstract
This review was conducted to determine the capacity of the ground tank (water reservoir) is used to fulfill the water needs from each unit store, restaurant, food court, mosque and toilets in Palembang Trade Center (PTC) Mall. The methodology in this review is collecting the primary data by observe the facility in PTC Mall while the secondary data obtained from PTC Mall management office. The data is used to calculate the water needs for each mall facility in March 2014. Obtained from the calculation of PTC Mall water needs is 167.88 m3/day, which is then compared with the volume of water available at the Ground Tank & Hydrant Tank. It is expected that the results of this review can be used as a guide for planning the provision of clean water to a city, which especialy has a shopping center.
