Abstract

Roads Mangunjaya – limits Musi rawas is a national road connecting the district Banyuasin and Musi Rawas. This road section has a very important role in promoting economic growth both locally and nationally. In this final project, the authors wanted to know how to planned well in planning and thick geometric design of pavement on roads Mangunjaya – limits Musi Rawas, so the road to be traverserd can provide a sense of comfort an economical for road users. From the result of the calculations have been done, roads Mangunjaya – limits Musi rawas is the class II A plan with a speed 80 km/h , and in this way there are 13 curve. Surface layer of the AC – WC with 6cm of thick, AC – BC with 9 cm of thick, AC base with 17 cm of thick layer of crushed stone foundation using class A with a thickness of 18 cm , while the sub base layer using class b with thick gravel 20 cm. This is necessary to build the road fund of Rp. 127.887.630.039,46 the execution time of 211 working days
