Abstract
APPLICATION OF COLOR SENSOR TCS 230 ON THE BOX STORAGE OF PAPER MONEY DONI SUHENDRI Banknote storage device using the TCS 230 color sensor is intended for people who love to save money. Saving activities are generally carried out by most of the people in the bank. But not infrequently people still save by using ordinary piggy bank. That is why the authors designed a tool that can calculate the amount of money. So that is a very good tool to use for storage is done at home. Equipment in the system is divided into the power supply, Servo motor, Relay applications, color sensors, three sensor Laser diode, three sensor Photodiode and an LCD display that is directly connected to the microcontroller. If the first diode laser sensor is blocked by obstacles, then I will move the servo motor sensors then detect the color of the object. If the object is in the form of money, then the micro will display the nominal money to the display on the LCD. Then Micro II will drive the Servo motor to open the separator bar between storage slots and slot exit area. If the money is in the form of money, then the Servo motor will direct the money to be saved. Conversely, if the object is not money then the microcontroller will not show the nominal money on the LCD display. Then the micro will send a signal to the second Servo motor to drive the separation barrier and direct the money to the output slot to not be saved.
