Abstract

The main objective of this final report is to create a simulation tool that can determine the condition of the water level and controls the water gate using SMS Gateway. As it is known that the system for controlling the water gate are still use manual system with human power. This system is not effective and efficient. In addition the author would like to build a simulation tool that can be remote from long distance and making it easier for water gate operator. Although the water gate operator isn’t in place but the water gate can still controlled. In this simulation tool consist of several components there are ultrasonic sensor for used to read the water level range, Microcontroler ATMEGA 32 as the main controller, Wavecom Modem is used as medium of SMS Gateway, and Pneumatic is used for open or close the water gate.
