Abstract
The weather in Indonesia in this years is to predict difficultly due to extreme climate changes For the extreme weather happened, will affect the bonding of power between asphalt and aggregate and peel asphalt mixture. If this situation occurs in continuously, can cause damage to the surface layer in a short time. The anti-stripping agent is used to increase bonding or adhesion of asphalt and aggregate. The purpose of this research are to determine the effect of adding anti-stripping agent DERBO-101 on parameter Marshall, and the effect of soaking temperature due to the addition of anti stripping in the AC-WC mixture. This research was tested in the laboratory materials transport department of civil engineering at Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang. This research was used with Marshall Test and used 60 samples consists of 15 samples for determine optimum asphalt content, and 15 samples for anti-stripping variation 0.2%; 0.25%; 0.3%; 0.35% dan 0.4% respectively for soaking temperature 600C; 700C; 800C . Laboratory testing using specifications of Bina Marga 2010 6thDivision. From the test results obtained by the Marshall test that best soaking temperature is 700C and this result appropriate with specifications of Bina Marga 2010 6thDivision. This results are obtained 15.36% of VMA, 4.62% of VIM, 68,8% of VFA, 2870 kg of stabilisation, 4,76 mm of flow and 556 kg/mm of MQ. The additon DERBO-101 anti-stripping has optimum value in 0,2% in AC-WC mixture with soaking temperature 700C.
