Abstract

Jalan Km.11 – Trans B.2 Kecamatan Plakat Tinggi Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin is one of the streets in Kabupaten, which connecting Kecamatan Plakat Tinggi to Sekayu, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Part of this street has an important role in improving the development of the local or national economy. In writing this capstone project, the writer wants to investigate the right way in planning the geometric design and the thickness of the pavement at part of the street at Km. 11 – Trans B.2. Kecamatan Plakat Tinggi, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. For this aim, the street can give a good benefit for the people around the street such as comfortable and economic street for the user. Based on the calculation in this research, part of the street at KM. 11 – Trans B.2 Kecamatan Plakat Tinggi is a secondary Class B with the acceleration of 80 Km/hour and 13 bends on the street. The thickness of the surface layer of the street uses 15 cm rigid pavement with K-350 rigid concrete plate structure. The thickness of the work floor K-175 is 10 cm. The base layer uses soil base with 5,6% CBR. The shoulder street uses aggregate Class B with 60% CBR. For building this street needs a budget of 34.600.000.000 IDR and 168 days working time
