Abstract

SMOKE DETECTOR IN MINIATURE BED ROOM BASED ON ATMEGA 16MICROCONTROLLER IKHWANUL MUKMININ Air pollution is the presence of one or more physical substance, chemical, or biological weapons in the atmosphere in an amount that can endanger human health, animals, and plants, interfere with the aesthetics and comfort, or property damage. Air pollution can be caused by natural sources and human activities. Some definitions of physical disturbances such as noise, heat, radiation or light pollution is considered as air pollution. The nature of air pollution impacts can be directly and locally, regionally, and globally. Healthy air and clean right for everyone, so any activity that may cause air pollution should be prevented, including those derived from cigarette smoke. Cigarette smoke are in a room will cause respiratory problems in people who breathe, which is why the author tries to make a smoke detector in the room with cigarette smoke as an indicator. Tool works when the smoke sensor that detects the presence of smoke in the room and sends the input signal to the microcontroller ATMega 16 pre-programmed, and sends a signal to activate the fan output is active. Fan works to suck the smoke out of the room. These devices are expected to be useful for reducing air pollution by cigarette smoke in the room, so the availability of clean air in the room can be guaranteed.
