Abstract

APPLICATION OF INFRARED SENSOR DETECTION OBJECT ON ROBOT LINE FOLLOWER AS A WAITRESS ADPRIODHITA This final report describes how to work of infrared sensor as a detector an object on the line follower robot waiters. Where this tool uses an infrared detector and a photodiode as presence or absence of an object (food). BASCOM AVR Programming Language is the software used. When writer tested the principle of line follower robot working as a waitress the infrared sensor can detect an object as a good fit what the writer expected. Data was collected through literature, laboratory studies and field studies. It works if the sensor is stymied by the object and then the sensor will transmit data through the microcontroller ATMega 16. Application of infrared sensor in line follower robot as a waitress has two positions, namely when the object will not detect a logic 1 and when detecting object to logic 0. The analysis of the purposes of the manufacture line follower robot as a waitress can help, as well as makes it easy to the customers and saving time when making a booking and the waitress presentation of food in a restaurant.
