Abstract

Distribution system is one in a power system has an important component because it is directly related to electricity users , especially users of high voltage electrical energy and low voltage. Losses on power distribution systems is one of the parameters that always attempted to be minimized. Most of the high losses that occur in the medium voltage distribution on the network load caused by the imbalance between the phases in the medium voltage network. The load imbalance is likely to occur in the branch network and medium voltage three- phase branches of the phase medium voltage networks. The final report to analyze load balance at kutilang feeder. From the analysis using ETAP version 12.6 has been done got result load imbalance at kutilang feeder amounted to 0.87%. From these results at kutilang feeder have an load imbalance is low (<25%). Beside that obtained drop voltage and losses at kutilang feeder, where the drop voltage in the start of network amounted to 1.52%, while at the end of the network amounted to 2.64%. As well as losses at kutilang feeder amounted 80.2 kW. Keywords : Distribution system, load imbalance, drop voltage, losses, ETAP 12.6.
