Abstract

In the process of repair, PLN has implemented several methods such as the addition of substations or commonly referred to as substations inserts, but the results remain unsatisfactory, so that the current measures to maintain the quality of starting power distribution undertaken by PT. PLN Persero Palembang area is to use a load transfer is by cutting the length of a feeder and move it to another feeder which is still a little burden so that the voltage generated is expected to be more stable due to lossespower will also be smaller. Based on the data that has been processed, it can be stated that the feeder Jambi suffered power losses in large enough quantities, namely 18.9% at peak load conditions and 14.1% during the evening peak load conditions and the results of the calculation of the voltage drop large enough that is equal to 12 , 7% for peak load day and 9.56% for peak loads during the evening prior to the transfer of the load. After removal of the load value losseS power generated by the Jambi feeders decreased by 7.49% at peak load conditions and 9.6% during the evening peak load conditions as well as the value of the voltage drop which also decreased by 5.3% for the day and peak load 6.1% for peak loads night. Keywords: Loss of power, voltage drop, load transfer.
