Abstract

Substation Bukit Asam has two different voltages, namely the 150 KV and 20 KV. For the sake of optimum energy distribution, then both sides of this voltage is connected using a power transformer with a capacity of 60 MVA. Then on the second channel is transmitted to other feeders and substations to transmission lines. At mounted transformer Over Current Relay (OCR) as security against interference currents, OCR is an equipment that serves as the detector and the monitoring of the occurrence of flow disturbances over, then gave a signal to the power circuit breaker (PMT) to open / close the channel is broken. OCR works by great value adjustment of current and time specified. After the calculation, the current settings of the OCR at the 20 KV is 4.86 A with tms 0.13 seconds. Keywords : over current relay, circuit breaker, current setting
