Air pollution is one form of environmental pollution that could interfere with the human respiratory system. Current air has been contaminated by the gases pollutants one of them smoke. Cigarette smoke in a room that is going to cause respiratory problems in people who breathe it, which is why we need a system that can purify the air automatically. Sensor MQ-2 is a component that can detect the gas from flammable materials in the air which produces an analog voltage output. Sensor MQ-2 sensitive to gas LPG, Propane, Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Methane and Alcohol. The sensitivity of the sensor MQ-2 can be adjusted using a variable resistor. The system works when the sensor MQ-2 detects smoke, the analog output from the sensor MQ-2 will be converted by the ADC port ATMEGA16 microcontroller into a digital output which then activates the fan as exhaust fan in the room that has been contaminated with cigarette smoke. In the room that has installed a system that can purify the air automatically there are a webcam as a camera for monitoring the state of the room from a distance using a smartphone which there Teamviewer applications by utilizing the internet facility.
