Abstract

DC motor is an electric motor that requires a supply voltage of direct current in the field coils to be converted into mechanical motion energy. DC motor applications on this device serves as a driving force feeding the fish using Android smartphone. On Android smartphones, there are three buttons which consist of auto button, open and close. Auto button serves to remove food fish from a shelter for 5 seconds, the open button to remove food fish from a shelter continuous and close button to stop the discharge of food fish from a shelter. Data transmission range of Android smartphones to AT89S52 microcontroller to drive a DC motor without hindrance as far as 36.5 meters and 18 meters with a barrier, there is a distinct time delay. Heavy food produced by the detected distance is not stable, that is 10-11 grams. Android smartphones as well as a warning, when the reed switch is on, Reed switch will send a signal to the microcontroller AT89S52 form of data words "fish food is running out" via bluetooth found on Android smartphones and HC-05 Bluetooth module.
