Titled research the manufacture of pulp of young coconut fibers using organosolv methods has done with the purpose to know the influence of the temperature and concentration NaOH steady as well as the condition of the process of making the pulp from coconut coir young and knowing which variable most important on the quality of the pulp produced.The utilization of other young coconut coir currently namely as alternative raw materials on the manufacture of pulp. Pulp is the raw material of making paper and compound chemical compound a derivative of cellulose .Pulp can be made of various kinds of wood , bamboo , and grass herbaceous .The results of the pulp is the separation of the fibers from the raw material of fibrous ( wood and non wood ) through various process of making good mechanically , semichemical , and chemical . The research uses a method of organosolv this is the process of chemically using methanol as solution pemasak and naoh as a solution of a catalyst .Variable research that is used is the concentration of naoh C , and 120 C level 43,47 % and in levels of lignin obtained 17,8 % Key words: Coconut Fibers Young, Pulp, Delignification, Organosolv Methods
