Abstract

Laboratorium Teknik Mesin di Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (Polsri) merupakan salah satu fasilitas penting dan lengkap dengan peralatan yang modern dan memadai dalam mendukung pembelajaran dan penelitian mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan praktis dan teoritis mereka. Fasilitas ini mencakup area machining, pemodelan dan simulasi, pengujian material, mekatronika, dan kontrol otomatis yang memungkinkan untuk mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dengan teknologi-teknologi terkini. Terdapat beberapa ruangan laboratorium yang berada di gedung laboratorium teknik mesin polsri seperti lab uji kekerasan Hidrolika, lab metalografi/metrologi, lab Plastic Moulding, lab hidrolik Sand Blasting, lab uji tarik/uji bahan dan lab Pneumatic. Dan beberapa mesin atau alat yang terdapat didalam lab-lab tersebut seperti mesin sand blasting yang terdapat di lab hidrolik, alat uji tarik, ada juga alat uji kekerasan dan masih banyak lagi mesin atau alat yang terdapat di laboratorium teknik mesin Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya.
