Abstract

Carbon monoxide (CO) is known as a pollutant harmful to human health. This gas is said to be dangerous because it is colorless, odorless and has a race so that its presence can not be known without a detector, in particular the levels of carbon monoxide (CO) can cause death. Based on the characteristics of the gas is then designed a device that can detect the concentration of carbon monoxide gas and can provide a visual signal in the form of LED if the smoke ppm levels have dropped. To detect the presence of carbon monoxide gas used MQ-7 CO sensor. The working principle of the detector and billows of smoke is that if the smoke on the sensor surface, the fan will live, the smoke will pass through the spark gap used to reduce ppm levels of smoke, the tool is also a pump to spray water so that the smoke can blend in with the water. And billows of smoke detector is also equipped with bluetooth module to send data to your android phone to be able to display information from the sensor ppm levels through ATmega16 microcontroller is used as a controller that has been filled program of Bascom AVR applications.
