Abstract

The purpose of the designing device is to design an automatic on/off lamp device based on human detection in a room and light lamp intensity setting within remote control. The writer has found the problem in light lamp controlling system now that still using switch within on/off basic. The on/off basic only can on and off the light without adjusting the intensity that appropriate with user necessary. This making the light lamp dissipation and the consequence is an electrical energy usage is not efficient. So that the writer wants to make an automatic on/off lamp and light lamp intensity setting by using remote control device. This device is use PIR sense as human detector, remote control as long range control, microcontroller ATMega8535 as controller, relay driver as automatic on/off lamp controller, dimmer as light lamp intensity controller, and LCD as a display. Key word : sensor PIR, remote control, mikrokontroller, dimmer, relay and LCD.
