Abstract

Metal detector system plays an important role in several industries, such as timber cutting, packing food, pharmaceutical, textile and many other industries. Metal detection system play a role in maintaining security systems products as well as the prevention of damage to the machine. In the building materials industry, wood processing, plastics, rubber, recycling materials and others at risk for fracture nail in the material. In addition to maintaining the quality of products, metal detection system will also prevent the production machine from damage. By installing a metal detector at the process (before the incoming raw materials to the processing engine), then the contents dangerous goods can be detected metal so it will not damage the wood cutting saws machine. Based on this background, the authors plan to create a metal detector on a wood cutting saws machine automatically to keep the wood cutting machine from damage, therefore, the authors take the title Design Metal Detector on Line Cutting Saws Wood Using Microcontroller ATMega8535. The aim is to for early prevention of occupational accidents to the workers and to prevent damage to the wood cutting saws machine.
