This study aims to determine the strategy of leadership in improving employee motivation at PT Propan Raya ICC Palembang. The research method used descriptive qualitative and quantitative method with Guttman Scale. The study was conducted through interviews, questionnaires and literature. The sample used in this research for 40 respondents. Based on the analysis results, that the strategy of leadership adopted by the company has not been effective because the results showed the percentage of 48.25% in numbers and employee motivation in the company is not maximized due the results showed the percentage of 51.25%. The Company requires a change application of leadership strategy to improve employee motivation in order to attain a good quality of work
