Abstract

Depot Kayu Vanai Jaya 1 Palembang merupakan usaha yang bergerak di bidang penjualan kayu dan produksi berdasarkan pesanan. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perhitungan harga pokok produksi dengan metode job order costing, perhitungan harga pokok penjualan berdasarkan biaya yang sebenarnya, serta penerapan biaya penyusutan aset tetap pada Depot Kayu Vanai Jaya 1 Palembang. Data penulisan diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat penggolongan biaya yang belum sesuai serta beberapa unsur biaya produksi yang belum diperhitungkan dalam penentuan harga pokok produksi. Setelah dilakukan analisis, diperoleh perhitungan harga pokok produksi dan harga pokok penjualan yang lebih tepat. Hasil penulisan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi perusahaan dalam melakukan pencatatan biaya produksi secara lebih akurat.
