Abstract

The final report is titled about The Relationship of Promotion Cost to increase Honda Vario sales volume at PT Astra International, TbkBranch Veteran Palembang. The purpose of this report is to know how the relationship promotion cost. Writers were collected the data by means interviews with managers of PT Astra International, Tbk Branch Veteran Palembang and library research by using the theory of Yusi (2010), about sales volume with Pearson correlation coefficient formula. The overall result showed that the total of relationship between sales volume and promotion cost was 0,903 percent. It showed that the promotion cost and sales volume was positive and very high because between 0,800 to 1,000 according to the scale interval. Based on the result, writers suggest to PT Astra International, Tbk Branch Veteran Palembang to added the promotion activites such as make website or blog and then doing event sponsorship to improve the brand image of the company.
