Abstract

The wind generally is any air movement relative to the earth's surface. Anemometer is a device used to measure the wind speed that is widely used in the field of metrology and geophysical stations or weather forecasts. The aim of this tool designed to generate a wind speed measurement occurs and sends data by SMS to the owner who has been in the program numbers. The wind in the propeller bowl or cup anemometer sensor coupled with optocoupler will rotate and produce the output of the analog voltage to be converted into digital data in a form that is displayed on the LCD 2x16. The data will appear on the LCD earlier in the process by the microcontroller ATmega8535 , with wind speeds of at least 00.1 KM / hour and then transmit the data via SMS through SIM900a modem connected to a microcontroller according to the program that has been created.
