Abstract

Applying a method of wireless communication data for helping a water treatment company (PAM) records both water volume and rate in a digital meter ever founded in costomers that are the locked fence gate and no one in home, while a water meter in home fence. The data of a digital water meter is sending via wireless to a data reciever called Portable data Electronic (PDEW). The process of data transmitting of a digital water meter have been made as code for identifying every costomer. The meaning of code is a costomer identity shorted ID. Every digital meter has ID itself. Wireless modulation has been applied is Amplitude shift Keying (ASK) with s t A m t t c c ( ) = ( )sinω , where m(t) is a data signal, Ac= amplitude modulation, ω c= modulation frequency. The process of data communication via wireless is aiding PAM recoding costomer’s water volume used. PDEW has been designed several fitures including taking, saving data by remote. Penerapan metode komunikasi data jarak jauh (wireless) untuk membantu petugas mencatat volume dan harga meteran air digital yang dijumpai situasi pelanggan yang terkunci pagar rumahnya dan tidak ada orang dirumah, sedangkan meteran air berada di dalam pagar. Data meteran air digital ini dikirimkan melalui wireless ke penerima data yang disebut Portable Data Electronic Wireless (PDEW). Proses kirim data meteran air digital telah dibuat secara berkode untuk membedakan masing-masing pelanggan. Pengertian berkode adalah identitas meteran air digital pelanggan yang disingkat ID. Setiap meteran mempunyai ID sendiri. Modulasi wireless yang telah digunakan adalah amplitude shift keying (ASK) dengan persamaan s t A m t t c c ( ) = ( )sinω , dimana m(t) adalah sinyal data, Ac= amplitude modulasi, ω c= frekuensi modulasi. Proses komunikasi data secara wireless ini membantu petugas tidak mengalami kesulitan mencatat volume meteran air pelanggan. PDEW telah dirancang dapat mengambil, menyimpan data pelanggan dari jarak jauh.
