Abstract

The design of the shredder plastic cup of mineral water were made to destroy garbage plastic cup of mineral water which is useful for garbage collectors because these machine can produce the raw material of recycled plastic. This machine has two sensors, infrared sensor that turn on the machine and load cell sensor that switches off the engine. An infrared sensor located on the funnel entrance shredder will detect plastic which then activates the relay and turn on the AC motor that connected to the blade using a pulley belt to shred the plastic waste. Heavy pieces of plastic that are processed in the container will be detected automatically using a load cell sensor which will then be displayed on the LCD screen 16 x 2 which is set by the microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560. When setpoint 150 grams has been reached then the microcontroller will turn off the relay so that the AC motor will stop spinning. Any increase in weight of 150 grams then Vout on a load cell sensor will rise by 0.3 mV with an error ratio of 0.5% against the real weights.
