Abstract

This final report is design planning of geometric and flexible pavement of freeway on Palembang – Indralaya South Sumatera Province STA 16+000 to STA 21+981. This freeway is connecting of trans Sumatera freeway construction. The construction of freeway was built as a support of improvement economical. In the final report the author would like to know how to plan the good design of geometric on the road, thus giving a sense of safe, comfortable and economical for all the road users. In this design, author designed based on domain street, average daily traffic (ADT) and CBR. Obtained from the calculation of ADT 97.794,403 smp with lane 6/2 D on the freeway Geometric Planning Regulation 2009, using CBR 6% and based on design travel speed used 100 km/hour that planed five corners which is kind of 2 Spiral Circle Spiral (SCS), 1 Spiral – Spiral (SS), 2 Full Circle (FC). This road is using flexible pavement with the surface layer AC-WC with 7 cm thick, AC-BC with 8 cm thick, AC-Base with 13 cm thick, while the foundation layer over using Aggregate class A with a thickness of 15 cm and the bottom foundation layer using an Aggregate class B with a thickness of 21 cm. Based on the calculation of the cost obtained in the geometric design and flexible pavement freeway of Palembang – Indralaya Province of South Sumatera STA 16+000 – 21+981 Rp. 197.403.460.000,00 (one hundred ninety seven bilion four hundred three milion four hundred and sixty thousand rupiah), This road construction was carried out within 289 days.
