STUDY ON ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK MEDIUM VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION IN. PLN (Persero) SUBSTATION TALANG RATU PALEMBANG (2014: 53 pages + List of Tables + List of Figures + Abstract) RANGGA ADITIA SAPUTRA 0611 3031 0880 Department of Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Polytechnic of Sriwijaya In electric power distribution systems, ranging from the power plant to be accepted by consumers will experience a loss of voltage. The cause of voltage loss is caused by the length of the distribution system, the size of the diameter, the wire conductor is used, and the size of the resistivity of the wire conductor. This loss will affect the efficiency of the distribution, so that the level of economical distribution of electrical power can be interrupted. The final report is to investigate the efficiency of medium voltage distribution network through a case study in the substation Talang Ratu Palembang. Calculation results obtained that the efficiency of the electric power distribution network resulting in the highest distribution feeder peak load during the Tarakan to reach = 99.73% and evening peak load reached = 99.83%.
