Abstract

Sandra Tri Septarini 0611 3031 1453 Majoring Electrical Engineering Short circuit current depends on 0% until 100% length of Beo feeder in Seduduk Putih Main Station, on 3 phase short circuit, there are both 4.477,3 A and 1.080,47 A. And on 2 phase short circuit both 3.877,47 A and 935,89 A. And then on 1 phase short circuit both 239,31 A and 186,17 A. The short circuit is used to calculate current and TMS setting on the over current relay and ground fault relay. Over current relay is used as the primary protection if the current is over than the tools capacity and as a backup for the front section. In the calculation, the result of current setting are 280,35 A on the feeder and 606,24 A on the incoming. And for TMS setting are 0,122 on the feeder and 0,204 on the incoming. From the calculation seems that the setting on the feeder is smaller than the setting on the incoming, it used to minimalize the disturbances of short current circuit. On the other hand, the disturbances of short circuit can be improved directly by over current relay on the feeder without disturb the other areas. Beside it, the calculation can be compared too to the real setting and seems that the setting is not too far, such as 300 A for the current setting on the feeder and 600 A for the current setting on the incoming. And for TMS setting such as 0,125 on the feeder and 0,28 on the incoming. Keywords : Short Circuit Current, Over Current Relay, Feeder, Incoming
