Abstract

Wahyu Belfias Eka Putra Daya 0611 3031 1455 Majoring Electrical Engineering Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya In electric power distribution systems, from the center of power plant until the electricity was accepted by consumers will experience a loss of voltage. The voltage losses is caused by the length and amount of distributed power, diameter of the wire conductor which is used, and the amount of the resistivity of the conductor. This will affect the efficiency of the distribution, so that the level of reliability of distributed power can be interrupted. The final report is to investigate the efficiency of the secondary distribution network through a case study on the distribution substation at Kalimantan feeder. The results of calculation show that the lowest efficiency at electrical power distribution network can be found in K.13 for the efficiency of lowest load in daytime η= 99,87 % and efficiency of lowest load in nighttime η = 99.89%. So we can said that Kalimantan feeder is the feeder with still good efficiency because reliability is not pass tolerance of SPLN 72:1987 that was 5% . Keywords: Efficiency, Losses , Drop voltage
