In general, in the field of construction usually use natural sand dunes that it does not contain salt. However, with the development of technology in construction there is also people use sea sand, because there comes a time in the future we will be hard to get the sand mountain, at the same time the sand is still widely available and easily found in every region of Indonesia. To overcome the difficulty of getting sand mountain in future, the author tried to do research of the use of sea sand as filler for asphalt binder trade. In this study , the authors took the filler from sea sand of Matras Beach which is located in Desa Sinar Baru, District of Sungailiat which is located exactly in the east of the island of Bangka Belitung. In this study the authors wanted to know the use the most optimal type of sea sand filler of AC – BC in flexible pavement (Flexible) to high traffic. The filler content variation of sea sand that will be tested is at 6.5 %, 8 %, 9.5 %, 11 % and 12.5 %. Based on test results using the percentage of sea sand filler levels which leads to high, the results of VMA and VIM is getting smaller, and the results of VFB is getting bigger. Levels of sea sand optimum filler obtained by 11,19 %. In 11,19 % variation obtained value of optimum stability is 4108.46 Kg and optimum flow is 3 mm. From the test results of the characteristic marshall, it make hot mix asphalt binder trade has durability, good resistance, and more stable.
