Abstract

Biogas is a process of fermentation of organic materials anaerobically by methanogenesis bacteria to produce flammable methane gas that can produce energy. The aim of this research is to know the addition of Green Phoskko-7 to the anaerobic biogas making in batch system to produce methane gas which has good quantity as renewable alternative energy. The raw materials used are Cow Manure and Swamp Water. This study shows that the addition of Green Phoskko-7 to the ratio of raw materials, operating temperature, acidity degree and anaerobic fermentation time. In organic matter capable of giving effect of quantity of methane gas in biogas to know operating temperature, measure pH value, and analyze COD value before and after fermentation. The results showed that biogas produced the highest methane gas on the 10th day at a ratio of 3 16,906 ppm at pH 7 and temperature 360C. It is that the addition of Green Phoskko-7 to biogas increases the quantity of methane gas.
