Abstract

Dam is a construction which is useful to restrain the rate of water and can be used for power generation, irrigation in agriculture and plantation sectors. If there is a damage to the motor of the door water dams and water dams doorman did not know about it, the volume of water will be growing so that the function and use of the dam will be disrupted. To overcome this we need a tool that serves to monitor the state of a particular water level through the notification short messages (SMS) in order to guard the floodgates of water can take further action manually. These tools include ping ultrasonic sensors to detect water level. Each water level is expressed in three circumstances, a height of 6-10 cm (Standby 3), 11-15 cm (standby 2), and 16-20 cm (standby 1). When the water level is located on one of the alert status, the arduino will give wavecom commands via modem to send SMS to water dams doorman mobile phone in form of water height data.
