Abstract
The title of this final report is designing tour package of cooking Palembang traditional food. the problem of this final report is “How to design tour package that can make people know the process of cooking traditional food”. In this report, the writer designed a tour package in a brochure. This research is done with the research and development method by doing the observation and interview about the tourism attraction and other that needed in a tour package. The population of this research is chef in 1 ulu Palembang, traditional market in Palembang, Residents’ houses, and all the tools of cooking Palembang traditional food.Because of the limitation that the writer had, the writer only used the representatives of the population as the sample. To collecting the data and analyzed it the writer used two steps. They are interview, observation. After collecting the data and analyzing it, the writer made a draft model and develops it by discussing with experts. The result of this tour package is a medium for culinary lovers to enjoy their hobby and also as a new kind of tourism in Palembang.
