Abstract

This final report explains how to make long-distance rainfall using SMS gateway based on microcontroller. This tool uses a Reed Switch sensor that lights up through a magnet attached to a Tipping bucket, so when Tipping bucket moves Since it is filled with rain water, the reed switch will connect and form a box / pulse signal. This pulse yan will be calculated / to the microcontroller. In the next stage will be carried out the calculation process on the microcontroller to determine rainfall, this process is done by counting the number of pulse / box signals. If you have finished calculating the rainfall, then the process will be followed by sending sms reports of rainfall data.
