Abstract

The need of accurate and reliable information on the environment PLN, bring the experts to design a system frequency of communication and information to be superimposed to the network system Air Channel High Voltage (SUTT) 150 KV. One of the tools that support the workings is Capacitor Voltage Transformer (CVT) that is merging several capacitors as coupling components in Power Line Carrier (PLC). After the discussion, was obtained the value of capacitance from Capacitor Coupling Transformer (CVT) is used. Where the value of the capacitance is calculated based on the frequency that will be superimposed on SUTT. The value of frequencies superimposed on Air Channel High Voltage (SUTT) is ranges between 50 KHz to 500 KHz, and be adapted by the needs of communication used. In the calculation of the frequency of 50 Hz obtained impedance value is 530,7855626 Ohm, at a frequency of 50 KHz obtained impedance value is 0,530785563 Ohm, at a frequency of 100 KHz obtained impedance value is 0,265392781 Ohm, at a frequency of 200 KHz obtained impedance value is 0,132696391 Ohm, at a frequency of 300 KHz obtained impedance value is 0,08846426 Ohm, at a frequency of 500 KHz obtained impedance value is 0,053078556 Ohm. It can be concluded that the greater the frequency the smaller the passing CVT impedance values, as well as to the contrary Keywords: impedance, current, and capacitance.
