Abstract
Generally speaking people with speech communicate with others using sign language. Unfortunately only a few people who understand and can communicate using sign language. There is actually research that aims to help people with speech impaired to be able to communicate with other people who are normal. However, this tool is not possible to be used as a communication tool in direct conversation because it is not portable. For that we need to create a portable tool that can help people with speech impaired to communicate with others directly. This tool is designed to convert text into speech (text to speech) using Raspberry Pi as storage software, software used in this tool is espeak software whose sound output can be heard through speakers.
