Abstract
In electrical system there are always a protection system to anticipate unexpected circumstances when fault is occured in a system. This protection systems are necessary to separate a trouble part with a normal part to make sure that the system can operate as normally.Over current relay and ground fault relay are works by monitoring the amount of current that is contained in the conductor, when the amount of current is exceeds the adjusment of relay, and then relay will work to instructs Circuit Breaker to break distribution system. One of the trouble that cause an increases in electric current is short circuit fault that makes a current which flow on a conductor is exceeds maximum value of the conductor or electrical equipments. So that, the author is discuss setting of over current relay and ground fault relay and also to make a simulation of “coordination over current relay and ground fault relay” on ETAP 12.6.0 program. This program is purpose to design an electrical systemand simulate it. Is it in accordance with the actual setting
