Abstract
In the process of electricity distribution to the consumer allows the occurrence of losses. The loss is influenced by the length of the line from the substation to the load. Power losses can not be eliminated, because the equipment in the system can not have 100% efficiency level. Therefore, the author of this time is intended to evaluate the loss of power that occurs and give a comparison of manual calculations with the calculation using Matlab software. Based on the result of discussion of power loss at Cungkedirofeeder Mariana Substation, it is found that the calculation result shows that the biggest daytime power loss is 4.81% and the biggest evening power loss is 6.47%. Matlab Software results show that the biggest daytime power loss is 4.79% and the biggest evening power loss is 6.43%.
