Abstract
In the electrical system, protection is the most important thing for protect an equipment from the fault which can disturb of operation continuity in the industry. Over current is one of fault which often occur in electric motor. Motor pump is one of electric motor usually get over current fault. For protect 6600 Volt motor pump from over current fault used a protection equipment SEPAM 1000+ M41 relay. To make this protection equipment can protect motor pump from over current, then do setting to SEPAM 1000+ M41 based on setting recomendation of the equipment. From setting results for over current on motor pump with nominal current 60 Ampere and fault current 85,5 Ampere, create current setting 60 Ampere. Trip time setting use IDMT standard inverse time curve with time setting 0,52 s. The greater the current on motor pump, the faster the time required SEPAM 1000+ M41 for trips.
