Abstract
Economic Value Added (EVA) is one approach to measuring the financial performance of a company by focusing on the creation of value-added enterprises. EVA shows how big the resulting rate of return on the investment made by shareholders. In this paper, the object used by the author is one of the leading companies in the field of auto financing in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely PT Adira Multi Finance Tbk. The data used are the financial statements of the company in 2009-2013. The purpose of this paper is to measure the financial performance of the EVA approach on PT Adira Multi Finance Tbk. the 2009-2013 period. The results of the analysis of the EVA calculation shows that during the last five years, the financial performance of PT Adira Multi Finance Tbk. has been well characterized by the EVA is positive that the company has succeeded in achieving its goal of creating value-added enterprise.
